Mother of Three Found Deceased After Being Reported Missing in Northwich

Rachel Booth, a 38-year-old mother of three from England, was confirmed dead after police identified a body found in a lake as hers. She had been reported missing in the early hours of Saturday, July 19, after last being seen by family in the Barnton area near Northwich.

CCTV footage later showed her at a gas station in Northwich at approximately 3:50 a.m., about five miles from her family’s location. A gas station employee recalled her purchasing wine and milk and mentioned that she did not appear upset or distressed at the time.

Authorities launched a search immediately after she was reported missing, which included underwater units.

On Monday, July 21, a body was discovered in a lake near Delamere Lake Holiday Park. Police later confirmed the identity of the body as Rachel Booth.

The Cheshire Constabulary released a statement saying that Rachel’s family had been notified and were being supported by specially trained officers.

The police also stated that there were no signs of suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and that a report would be submitted to the coroner.

Following the discovery, Wild Shore Delamere, a water park located near where the body was found, announced that it would remain closed on Tuesday, July 22, as a mark of respect.

Rachel Booth’s disappearance and tragic passing have deeply impacted the local community. She was remembered as a devoted mother and a well-known presence in her neighborhood. Her family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
