Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos reflected on the latter relieving himself in public.
“It was just too populated on the trail because I had to go pee,” Consuelos recalled.
Ripa confirmed she stood her ground and looked out while her husband urinated in public.
Kelly Ripa always has husband Mark Consuelos’ back — and, apparently, looks out for his front — when it comes to navigating both private and public affairs.
During a Tuesday morning discussion about “land snorkeling” on Live With Kelly and Mark, the cohosts recalled a past experience while Consuelos was walking along a public trail and felt the call of nature while exploring, uh, nature’s gifts.
While Ripa said she liked the idea of exploring uncharted territory, Consuelos said he doesn’t like deviating too far from civilization because “you’re not going to get lost,” he said.

“I did go land snorkeling on one of our hikes because it was just too populated on the trail because I had to go pee,” Consuelos revealed. “So, I went off-trail, and I said, ‘Can you see me?’ and she said, ‘Yep, still can see you.’”
The Live audience chuckled as Consuelos recounted the ordeal.
“I’d go a little further, and I go, ‘Can you see me?’ and she’s like, ‘Can still see you,’” Consuelos continued.

Ripa cut in to joke, “I like when he tells me keep an eye out for other people. Like, what am I supposed to do? Tackle them when they come by? What do you expect me to do?”
Consuelos smiled before giving his wife a gold star for watching out for his golden stream: “You were a good lookout!” Consuelos said.
